My first turning. The wood is plywood that is used to form concrete. I love the texture and golden glow that the wood shines with. Unless you touch it, it looks like it has ridges but it's smooth! I still have SO much to learn but thanks to my sweet husband, I accomplished this first one. (Yep, there was a time I wanted to skew that bowl with the skew tool. ) Now that I know what a 'catch' it, it's not a good thing:) Hopefully, there are woodturning classes and conventions in my future.I want to do a plain white-ish wood bowl that I can tangle on.
