Saturday's Class and Illumination

Learned new patterns at the Saturday class. Here's the tile I did. Not completely shaded but will help me remember how to do the patterns along with the step sheet that Angie uses. I loved the way she put the difference between 'doodling' and 'zentangling' to TAEA art teachers. "Can you teach the steps to doodling?" Great comeback!
Here's the letter T illumination. Not happy with it. Too much around the T and inside it.
The "S" turned out better. Need to do some touch up on the illumination part. And find a font that can be mine. Guess what everyone's getting for Christmas?

The E and last night

So LOVE is done, here is the E. Am looking for a frame to put them in, but they are 5x7 so not sure how it's going to look with matt. If I find one, I'll take a picture.

The other Zentangle I experimented with shading and making it more 3D. It's been so long since I've drawn and never had a good art class on 'how to draw and shade', kind of just going on instinct. I wish I had time to take a class and play totally dumb:) but looks like this summer will be for a photography class instead of drawing. But ya never know, it's only November.

Weekend tangles - letter L, O, V

I'm a big fan of alphabet photography and hidden objects in pictures. So, as I fool around with Zentangle, I tried to add the letter L to one 5 x 7, then O....etc. Here's the L, O and V. Still working on E, but last time I saw it, it was disappearing into a tangle.

Trying out posting some zentangles on the blogger.

My Thanksgiving Cornocopia Zentangle. I'm totally hooked on zentangle. I can tangle while 'watching' TV.

This is the Thanksgiving Hand Turkey. All the awesome teachers at KHS are making hand turkeys. They are amazing!
